denzel washington delivereddddddd. really the whole cast delivered, just my honorable mention, also paul!!!, but yeah i loved this. perfect mix of fantasy spectacle and historical intention. as someone who was hesitant to read the aeneid and the odyssey I approached this film similarly; somewhat unsure about whether or not I could get invested in this kind of world but as I was for those, here I was immediately transported by the poetic chaos within each characters story and their pursuits for justice. rate 4/5
